(MyFantasyLeague.com Fantasy Times Sources - Dec 1, 2008) In a week 13 TINO Dynasty Football League intra-divisional showdown, Cenla ScooterTrash squeaked by a tough Arizona Corona Crew team by a score of 116.0 to 106.5, silencing a partisan crowd of 72,639.
Cenla ScooterTrash were led to their 9.5 point victory by a 31.0 point effort from the Baltimore Ravens Defensive Team. With this performance, the Ravens was the number 2 ranked defensive team for week 13. They also got help from a 23.0 point effort from Drew Brees, who got by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense for 296 passing yards and 2 passing tds.
"We're glad to get out of here with the 'W'," Cenla ScooterTrash coach Scooterman said.
Arizona Corona Crew were helped out in a losing cause by a 20.0 point effort from Greg Jennings, who got by the Carolina Panthers defense for 91 receiving yards and 1 receiving td. With this performance, Jennings was the number 4 ranked wide receiver for week 13. They also got help from a 18.0 point effort from the Pittsburgh Steelers Defensive Team.
"They caught us on an off night," Arizona Corona Crew coach Slicktop said.
Adding salt to the wound, Arizona Corona Crew could have scored 129.0 points and gotten the win with their best lineup, but Slicktop left key players like Jeff Garcia and his corresponding 15.0 points on the bench.
This brings the record for Cenla ScooterTrash to 8-5, and drops Arizona Corona Crew to a record of 5-8.
